? about 96 xp handlebars

On my 96 xp the bars are 26" wide. I did find some Pro taper KTM50 that are 25.5" wide. how wide do you guys go? I dont want to go to wide due to I would like to use my cover.

I just put the " YZ LOW " on my 96' XP. They are 800mm wide and look great. My stock yellow pad cover was disgusting so these bars are a great upgrade.

1989, thanks for the info. Do you have a cover for your ski? If so what kind and does it fit with the new bars?

I do have a cover but keep ski in garage during week. Weekend it sits outside for lake fun. I have a factory sea doo cover. I haven't tried to put it on yet as the ski is still in garage getting upgrades. If your aftermarket bars you want are .5" shorter than the cover will be easier to install.

I just looked 26" is 660.40 mm. So yeah the cover is never going to fit since my bars are now 800mm ughh

Rob, thats what i was thinking. I think i will go with the small bars. Did you use the stock start/trim holder?

Yep, did yz low bars, odi rogue grips, blowsion finger throttle, and stock start/stop.

Cleaned the red start/stop button with some acrysol and its nice and red now.

ive got these installed on my 97, cut .5 off each end and fit under my oem cover fine.

I've had renthal and protaper on dirt bikes and quads over the years. These are $20 and just as good since on a waverunner you really don't have to worry about crashing and bending them
