A Better Flushing Connector?

My 2008 Challenger 180 sits atop a jetdock when not in use. There is NOT a whole lot of room behind the boat once it's up on the jetdock.

Reaching the flushing connector with the quick-disconnect/hose is very awkward and I was wondering if anyone has found a modification out there that extends the flushing connector to a more-reachable location.

You could always just open the hatch to the engine bay and insert a "T" connector on the hose. Then all you have to do is open the hatch, remove the plastic tray and connect the hose from inside the boat.

when ever i do a flush point in the boat i always put a ball or gate valve in to keep the water from flowing out the back of the boat . just be sure to reopen it before use

So, am I to take both of your individual advice and put the two together? A T-connector in the engine bay and a close-able valve at the original flush point to keep the water from just blowing out that hole when I use the T-connector method?

And, we're talking about the hose marked in this picture?
