First post on the site, I just picked up a 99 SPX 800, with a few mods on it, including a set of Fox Aero bars. My Seadoo experience consists of a'97 GSX that I owned from new for about 4 years, and the occasional rip on friends seadoos. I realize the bars get me sitting quite a bit more forward, but I'm only 5-4, so I'm forward anyways, and I find the bars wide for my build. What advantages does the Fox bar give me? I'm not racing this little rocket just zipping around, so should I pull them and find a set of stock bars? The Fox bar also has a finger throttle, which isn't an issue, I have one on my sled, is this signifigant improvement overt the thumb flapper?

It depends on what steering stem you have. If it is stock then just adding bars will not give you any improvement in my opinion. I have no clue what Fox Aero bars are? I assume just aftermarket bars?
If it is an aftermarket steering stem then it moves the direction to a push pull instead of the up and down of the stock system which a lot of people like better and is stronger for wave jumping.

The finger throttle is personal preference but mist like it better because you can grip the bars better and it is more comfortable than the thumb.
