99 Seadoo Sportster 1800 Hydroturf Owners

Got mine in today and the very front piece has a square cut out in it?
Any idea as to why?? It severs no function. Kit did not come w/filler piece either
Already emailed HT but want to know if anyone had have any issues with their kit or know of purpose of cut out??

Edit: spoke to HT and they said a drain used to go there?? They are going to send me a insert to fill it in.

I have the same year/model boat. I discovered that a table was an option on our boats, and the cutout lines up perfectly where the table mount would go.

Yeah spoke to Cory at HT and they were nice enough to fix it with insert.
He mention the diamond cut may note line up with filler piece so I asked him for a plain black with HT logo.
Hopefully get them before trip to finish job.
