99 GTX LTD Carb Rebuild Question-is it supposed to be like this?

Those are the billet buckshots, no Bueno, I bought those to replace the 46mm Buckshots on the XP, the ski would not launch, no arm stretching, holy crap, roll you off the back of the seat if you're not hanging on. They look awesome with the bomb site venturi's compared to the big brass spray bar of the Buckshot modded 46's and probably more fuel economy but why would that matter on this type of build. Novi manufactured something like this but no 1st hand info, after the 600-800 bucks I spent I realized that it would be hard to get faster acceleration than I had when it would go from idle to 7800+ rpm in just a few seconds. Yes, different impellor, Solas X then to tame the 7900+ rpm down a bit and maybe 1-2 mph faster I run a X0b I believe it is, newer generation of the X0. R&D pressure/steer nozzles tuned (small bored to tune, 86.5/89mm) modded OEM stator vanes- pump, leading edge like an airplane wing, Jet Dynamics intake grate modded for balance for hookup and speed, Bullet Marine head and had 39cc domes but lowered the compression to next larger domes, forget the exact cc's, maybe 41cc with 43cc being close to stock, been to long to remember but still run 50/50 race/pump fuel, and there's no such thing as pump gas domes with a Factory Pipe, got that from Andrew Buck and Ross Liberty (FP) in the 2-stroke days after I discovered what detonation really was compared to pre-ignition (pinging). Ported the 40mm case ports 2 deg of crank rotation before and after opening and modded a earlier rotary valve disc to open at the OEM deg relative to crank timing, in 4 stroke terms it's the same as a cam with higher lift but same duration, the 787 already has a long duration intake, past bottom dead center and you don't want a sluggish off idle response especially when it already will rev to the moon. I exploded a flywheel (mag) once, piece went through bottom of cover AND HULL. Another reason for an X0 impellor. And a MSD programmable curve ignition enhancer, advance timing in low-midrange for acceleration and retard at high rpm to get lost rev's back due to higher compression, 15 degree's at 7500 was supposed to be the curves endpoint that Pops Fischetti used. A Borntragger titanium driveshaft finished off the power and pump. No radical cylinder porting, just clean and match, Seadoos had good porting from factory compared to the other OEMs. 1st build lasted 12 years, Rod let go, same time, maybe just coincidence, as I went to Amsoil Dominator pre-mix from Motul 800 2T, after rebuild went back to Motul and still getting pounded on and running good now. Who knows.....?

That's an idea. And the electrolyte could be seawater! Wouldn't that be something.
Know why it wouldn't happen? Nobody owns the rights to seawater..... Hey, that sure is a nice battery you're riding.... lol

Like WD-40 .... kerosene with coconut smell. Railroad used kerosene as "switchlite oil" kerosene is basis for jet fuel. Kerosene is good for O-ring chains, lube is already inside, kerosene keeps the O-rings conditioned and it evaporates so your chain doesn't look like a sugar cookie at Glamis or Dumont, sprockets last a lot longer without the abrasive. Another not well known.... best penetrating oil? 50/50 acetone/ATF cetone is very small molecules and transports the high detergent ATF low viscosity oil into galled/tight connections and acetone evaporates leaving ATF. Save an empty Visene eye drop bottle and make some. Now PB Blaster, WD-40 etc will have a contract out on me, lol. Hey WD-40, I still use it for some stuff, especially when I can't find my Visene bottle.

That's what we need, electric watercraft that charges by water running past some sort of exotic alloy anodes.....
