I have a 99 gts with a continual blown 5 a fuse problem at the MPEM . A tech suggested to just buy a new MPEM from the local dealer but after seeing many articles here about delaminating a diode out . My question is what is the specific diode for this unit ? are they all MR25's that are posted thru out the forum? I went to a local electronics store and the worker gave me a 6A 400w diode MR754G. I am unsure if this is the same needed and just an alternate diode which is not Motorola . Any ideas ?
