I was on the river cruising along for about 10 minutes after starting and then the engine just stopped. No warning it just died. I tried restarting and it would just crank and crank and crank but not start completely. What would cause the GTI to just shut off like that? I filled up the gas tank beforehand. The lanyard was attached. I cleaned the fuel filters and the carb last month. A new battery was installed two months ago. It was running fine once it finally decided start. It has had hard starting problems since I've had it. Going full speed and it just died after only 10 minutes is frustrating. Maybe the plugs? I pulled them and they look fine and not fouled but maybe I'll try that. Once again I'm new to jetski's but can wrench. Any help is appreciated.
