I have a 99 seadoo gti, triing to get it running after winterize. First off i put new battery in it and cleaned every connection in the ski i took off sanded/cleaned and reinstalled. That being said, when i plug the key up the oil light comes on and then off, but no beep and gas gauge doesnt move. i can hit the starter button and it cranks but no spark, new plugs and nothing. cranks over good. it used to beep when the key was put on but not now, is this normal or what? also any ideas on the no spark issue? Any help would be great. Also if anyone has a service manual for this ski or know where to get one would be great. thanks again

Manuals are here in the seadoo forum library. Join as "Premium Member" and you can down load one and print it off, or view it on line as a pdf. Click on the "manual" link for details...it costs $10.95 for a month subscription and allows you to get special help from the Moderators here. The money goes to the forum as the moderators volunteer here for free. We also have a "Parts" link too for parts.

Be sure the connections are real good and clean. They could look ok but be corroded inside. It has to beep or it won't fire up. That tells you it isn't getting power to the plugs. Check all the fuses too.

OK will do, i have check all connections and cleaned all of them either with sand paper or contact cleaner. also when i put the key on it will crank could the key still not be working right if its not beeping.

It should beep...it might be the beeper is bad. Either test it with a multi meter or put your hand over it to feel it vibrate... it should beep to let you know all is ready to go. Clean LOOKING connections might still need to replaced with new ends...so it has a good connection, not just look the part.
