So not to long ago i had a stator issue which cause the ski to just quit on the middle of the lake. Prior to this the ski was running awesome. Take it apart fix the problem and we took it back to the lake to test it out and have fun. Again it was running beautifully but after ten minutes or so of riding it just bogged down and wouldnt do much of anything got it back to shore and saw it blew out the front exhaust hose. Bought new ones (rear was going too) put them on realized we had crossed the lines on the tuned pipe due to a different diagram floating around for the 98s compared to the 99 fixed it took it back to the lake and again was running really good and about 10 min later took it back to shore and checked to see if it was getting hot which it was but the head is cool to touch. We already cleared the lines (all of them) and double checked again the routing of them and it all is good. Took it back to the lake to see if the Reg is doing what its suppose to do so we took the line off that goes to the tuned pipe and at idle its not shooting water out ( well barely) but at full throttle it shoots it out like crazy. I know its suppose to be the other way around so is the valve bad or could there be some other thing wrong that i am not noticing? Just want to be sure before i buy a new reg and it doesnt help.
