I recently purchased a 98 Sportster 1800, and was told/given documentation showing that rebuilt engines were installed in 2004. The owner prior to me (he was the second) has had the boat winterized every year since 2005, and gave me the maintenance records (from what I can see, he took good care of the engines). From the mechanic receipts, I see that in 2008, the compression across the board was 150. The 2009 readings were 135.

Everything runs fine right now, but since I'm new to jetboat ownership, I was just wondering if there's anything to keep an eye on, and at what point the compression can cause a problem. I don't know if there's regular maintenance I should be doing to make sure this doesn't become a problem. For all I know, this is regular wear... any words of wisdom?
