98 Speedster.. One Engine good, other bad

OK, I can start the one engine the other will not make a peep.. no ticking, no beeping.. nothing.. last year this would happen from time to time that I would push the starter and nothing and then push push and push and then there would be a connection and it would start.. I thought it might be in the little button so I switched them around and it start the good motor off the bat... still nothing in the bad motor with the previously good buttion... where to next?

trace the red cables, from battery to elect. box, the nfrom elect. box to starter. Make sure they aint corroed at ends or broke. If conditions are good, then more likely you need a new relay. Where the 2-red cables connect inside the elect. box, thats the relay. Jump the post, see if then, it turns motor.
