98 Gtx Ltd Pump

May someone know please,if there is meant to be a large neoprene seal that is to go between the pump support plate(that is mounted on the outside of the transom)and the impeller housing assy.(that gets bolted on to this)
In the parts list it does not list one but,in the manual it shows one being installed.I took the pump assy. off and one was not fitted and just now I looked at the manual and saw it.It is a very neat fit between the 2 parts and I thought my model may not have one.Any feedback would be great.Thankyou in advance

Some use the seal and some don't. (from the factory) We always recommend using one. This will assure that there are no air leaks into the pump, and will give you less of a chance to develop cavitation.

Thank you for your feedback.I now know what I need to do.
New pistons,rings,rods,bottom end,carby rebuild,fuel lines.Thank you.Just needed to know if that part was in there or not.
