I was on the lake this weekend and my 98 seadoo gtx limited was running fine after turning it off to switch riders it wouldn't start back or even try to turn over. All I would hear is just a clicking back by the battery. I thought it was the battery I removed it charged overnight and the next morning it start right up. After running for a hour or so I turned the ski off parked it for a while and went to start it back and it did the same thing just clicking. I let it sit over night didn't charge it and the next morning it started up fine I ran it on a hose until it got hot shut it off and did the same thing wouldn't start back just clicking. The battery is only 3 months old. It has 951cc engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm thinking bad starter solenoid or starter.

In case it is a weak battery or bad solenoid:
1) charge up the battery.
2) connect voltmeter to battery
2) take a voltage reading from volt meter
3) try to start seadoo while watching voltage from voltmeter

if volt meter changes....
a) not at all. solenoid isn't kicking over properly. try bypassing the solenoid
b) a little bit. probably bad starter.
c) a lot. probably weak battery or shorted/stalled starter.
