98 gtx limited-common issues?

so i learned the hard way about the carbon shaft seals that seal up the shaft where it exists the hull. i learned that when these go bad, you end up with a hull full of water. so now that i know this, what else should i know about these models? what are the common problems?

Same here, Just aquired one, rebuilt it and now concerned. I would think with good maintance and using the right oil and not just running the crap out of it, It should last reasonably well. Am running mine like the old man I am. This thing has all the power I should ever need without dogging it.
