98 GTS no spark

I have a 98 GTS 717 I had running good but now will crank but no spark. the stator is giving constant 12v to the ignition pack through the black and red wire on start up but no voltage or spark to the plug . Both fuses are good. Is it the ignition coil or the stator. Also will it crank if the anti theft circuit is not closed and not spark or will it not crank at all. Also does the ignition coil pulsate? or should the red and black wire from the stator pulsate and not stay constant 12v
