98 GSX sucking power

Hey all, I have a 98 GSX and it tends to drain the battery when it's not running... Now when I go out I have to disconnect the battery when it's sitting so I know it will start for the next ride... Anyone have any suggestions??

I use a water proof battery tender which keeps it ready to go and fully charged. Some use a quick connect or battery switch or like you do, disconnect battery in storage.
