98 GSX ltd One beep, no gauges

1998 GSX limited. When I push the start button, I get one beep, but the gauges won't light up. Battery is charged, fuses are all good. Please help.

There is little information to go on here. I know you stated the battery was charged, but have you check the voltage under load?

One beep means the MPEM is not reading the lanyard.
Would make sure it is the correct lanyard. Clean the lanyard with soap and water.
If that doesn't work you will probably have to get the lanyard reprogrammed.

Wrong key. One beep means that key is not programmed to the MPEM.

I bought the candoopro and I know the key is programmed. It's a brand new key. When I put key on and push start I get one beep and the red light at the bottom of the gauges lights up, but the gauges themselves don't do anything.
