98 gsx limited no spark please help

i recently put together a 98 gsx limited from two skis. i got it reprogrammed because i had to get a new key. the tech said the mpem was good. i got it home and tried to start it but it would just turn over. i pulled both plug wires off and no spark. someone please steer me in the right direction...thanks joe
