I have a 98 gsx limited with an info center that lights up all the way, but shows no info. The vts and gas gauges are all the way up, and all other digits are full with a flashing red light. This happened after replacing the old info center, to which I had to connect the battery wire for the info center (red and purple) directly to the battery, as the mpem battery pin snapped off. I also bypassed the purple and black wires from the speedometer by connecting them together. Any thoughts as to the cause?
