Im pretty sure the 97 xp has 130 hp, and should do 60mph. Not sure what mods could be done.

The 787cc in the XP is a 110 hp motor. There are several things you can do to make this ski faster but with changes come more problems and a shorter engine life span.
I'm not sure of the top speed of this ski, but I would imagine it's over 50, proabaly closer to 60.
If you look to mod, the impeller can be changed to a Solas or other equal high performance part.
If I were going to mod, I think I'd change the jet sizes in the carbs and go with an aftermarket flame arrestor so manifold pressure would allow more fuel for combustion. The RAVE valves will take up for expansion in combustion for a small amout of modding. But if you get hog wild, you'll want to go with the after market exhaust system at some time............:cheers:
