Hi, new to the forum, but have had Seadoo's since 1990. I have a perplexing problem with a '97 XP. The machine has been trouble-free until now. The XP cranks over vigorously, but has no spark. There is battery voltage getting all the way to the MPEM, but appears to be no voltage at the coil input feed (white wire). Has anyone experienced the same thing or have any ideas? Are there any sources out there for MPEM units, other than my local Seadoo dealer? If it turns out that the MPEM is the culprit, they want your first-born in exchange for it. I have read other threads that imply the start/stop switch or tether/tower might be part of the problem. Thanks for any ideas.
