Switching back and forth between on and reserve it seems to run ok for like 30 seconds then bogs out. I just replaced the fuel lines and rebuilt the carbs. also cleaned the selector switch. acted this way in on position before but was ok on reserve. I am not sure how the fuel presure works on this. I used 8mm hose everywhere.

please help

I had similar problems, just not as bad.

Swap the switch out for new. Cheap fix, just takes a week for delivery.

Sadly, I went through the entire carb, fuel, fuel line system before I figured out it was the switch.

New baffle, new filters, 6 months of NEW and replacing parts.

I cleaned the valve

I will get one. i will take a while to get. I will bypass it for a test. It sure seem like a presure thing as itworks a bit when you switch like they have built some presure and it can go for a minute. I am not sure what is used for the fuel pump in this design. my other one primed its self this one didn't pump anything until I primed it with a squirt jug.

The front carb has a diaphragm fuel pump built in.

It should be pressurized at all times when riding.

Mine would bog out after I jumped a wake. And only after half a tank was gone. Then all of a sudden, it would limp around. But if I used my primer, it would come back to life as long as I primed it until the pressure built back up.

After swapping everything else out, it still ran like crap on the last half of the tank.

The switch finally came in, put it on, and ran like a charm ever since.
