when I built my banshee it had twin carbs and I went to a system to one oversized single carb. Is there such a thing out there for the GTX?

I have worked on designes, on allot of systems myself, I helped designed the rear mount turbo Titan for Relentless, I helped designed a water oil seperating catch can. I also worked on makeing a adaptor for the 90mm t-body to work on the Titan trucks, just had to finish teaching the GM t-body to speak japanese LOL. If I designed a 1 into 2 intake for these would there be much demand you think?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'll bet this guy does. He forgot more about seadoo's than 99.99% of us will ever know

Well... on a Banshee engine... the old style round Mikuni's were kind of a tuning nightmare. (the PKW's were better) I remember having to change main jets on mine for every riding location... and a single carb would help simplify that.

Twin carbs have the "Illusion" of performance... so it would be a hard sell to get guys to change over to a single.

Well with my banshee it was a Trinity Racing built stroker motor, and when I did the single carb set up I had to actually drill out the main jets a little, because it still was not getting enough fuel. After I had it dialed in, it made life so much easier with one carb. No having to sink them and re-jetting for diff altitudes was so much easier as well. Then I went to a 2 into one exhaust for it and it sounded just like a formula one indi car (well kinda LOL)

PICS OF MY BANSHEE..the date on the pictures is off, I never did set it LOL

Sounds like more work than it's worth to me..... I have had a banshee with mild mods for 10 years now, dual carbs are not too bad. Jetting on those carbs on the other hand, is a pain because you have to remove the float bowls. My yfz, has a nice little screw at the bottom to change the jets.... Much easier.

Anyway, I would just stick with the recommended tuning / carb sync procedure. Just my two cents though. On the other hand, if you really wanted to spend the time to fab something else up, might be a fun project.

Nice pics by the way.
