hey guys and girls, ive recently bought me and the wife a 2000 gtx but the previous owner had removed the rotax fuel injection engine and wiring loom, fitted a 1997 carb wiring loom, clocks and stuff and supplied me with a 787 carb engine, now the problem i have is: i roughly fitted my engine mounts today, good no problems there, now when i came to fit the engine the front engine mount didnt line up with the mount on the engine case, its about 1 inch to far over, now am i missing somthing or are the 1997 hull the same as the 2000 hull?? or are the mounting points in the hull different? if anybody with a 1997 gtx wouldnt mind taking a picture of there front engine mount installed with the engine in place i would be greatfull. the pic i have in both manuals look exactly the same so just want to confirm im not missing somthing.........

You MAY get lucky here....the RFIs used a different front mount. I have the correct mount cheap if you wanna try it.
any chance of you posting a pic of the mount? and giving me the overall height of it? to get my prop at the right angle the engine sits about 2 inches high off the mount! and its off centre too, the mount doesnt line up with the hole in the mag cover its about 1 inch too far over
