I picked this ski up in late summer of 2021 as a winter project. I always wanted a GTX after working on someone's 99 RFI i always thought they rode real nice. The ski only had 48 hours on it and had last seen the water in 2012 and was sitting in his garage under the original Seadoo cover with the engine in pieces in a couple of separate box's.

Engine- Rebuilt it myself, Competitive Cranks rebuilt the crank and counter balance shaft nothing but excellent service and communication even with all the supply chain issues at the time. Top End is from River Rat Bob on Ebay quality looked good and so far no issues with 8hours on the engine. Lost my original cylinders and $400 with Full Bore. Carbs rebuilt very clean internally.

Pump- changed oil and wear ring, The wear ring disintegrated on me during break in probably the original one was unaware they did that.

Hull- Hydro-turf mats, all new fuel lines and selector valve, all new oil lines, Candoo GPS speedo conversion. Oil tank leaks at the seam i have a seamless 96 tank just haven't changed it yet. It came with only one DSS key that worked so had two more made by Westside Powersports very good service and communication.

All in all it was in very good condition.
