Hello all, new to this forum and looking for help. Had a great day out on the lake for a good 2 hour run, about 5 minutes before we made port I noticed a loss of power, max RPM 5K came to idle noticed a popping sound (firing thru carb# 1) docked and shut her down. started again pulled plug 2, stalled. re-fired, pulled plug 1, no change.......thought I lost a plug, 2 new ones and no change. P.S., trust me I have fire on # 1, tried one of the old ones for spark test. The only thing I have done to this boat is adjusted main throttle cable to bring up to 1050rpm. After changing plugs with no change I groped down around the carbs and noticed the main cable lock nut had come loose and the cable was free, my bad. I figured a quick fix and off we go........Not the case, no change, starts but still same symptoms.......Any ideas???
