After a rebuild on my 97 800 engine I installed a bypass kit, went premix, ran a very strong 25-1 mix for a tank of break-in and then found out from a friend that I should have left the oil tank in and connected to the lower input/output of the block. Well , no harm "I THINK" re-installed the pump, primed her up, ran stronger then ever. PROBLEM, now the bottom of my ski is filled with oil? could this be coming from the engine?, hose connections seem good, did I crack the block. I just can't see where it is leaking from. After I ran it it did not look that bad but after sitting for a few days, she is leaking just from sitting there?
any ideas?
thanks in advance

Unfortunately, the leak can be coming from anywhere.

I doubt you cracked the block... the normal damage is that you kill the rotary valve gears.

The only way to find the leak is to clean everything, and look.

Chances are it is leaking from the oil line either into or coming out of the oil reserve tank and running down the outside of the line. Check the grommet too in the bottom of the tank. They always dribble oil.
