97 GTX does nothing

I live in central florida and the last time I used this ski was in last october.Battery is fully charger and when I plugged in the key it does nothing.No blip and no gauges light up I am pretty mechanical so could someone help me out here.

with the battery in and hooked up press your start switch and watch your gauges. they should go up or do something. if they do, its either your d.e.s.s. post or lanyard. you can take it to a deal and they can tell you which it is. if the key just came un-programed its 35$, if you key went bad $45 for new key plus 35 for program. if its the post just get a new one and replace it yourself.

I held the start button down and the gauges did not show anything.Is there a fuse I should be looking for?

Upon checking things over I noticed there are two wires going to - terminal on battery.Well,I only had one hooked up.Problem solved.
