ive changed spark plugs
changed fuel lines
checked carb filters are clean
checked fuel selecter valve
checked fuel pick up pipe and filter in the tank
ive got a decent spark. plugs are wet when i pull them
going to go back to the carbs tommorrow any ideas ?

forgot to say compression is 150 on both cylinders engine is 787.

ive also added a extra in line filter (a clear one) it never goes more than half full at best

Needles & seats are leaking (carbs). Replace them and re-assemble & leak-down test, re-set pop-off. Fine tune in the water.

Search the how-to section if ya don't have a manual.

ok so i ordered needle and floats x2 today but arent going to get them for several days, so i decided to get the carbs off and have a look at the needles and floats, they looked ok no grooves etc whilst i was at it i looked in the fuel pump and it was full of crap, so cleaned it along with the carbs and also set low speed to factory spec now it fires and runs but only when the choke is pulled any further thoughts ?

You need a pop-off tester. And clean carbs & fuel system. New *plugs.

Pull the fuel return line off, put a short line on the carb nipple, other end in catch clear bottle. Crank with wires on
the ground lugs, if it isn't fuel flowing good, the fuel pump isn't either pushing gas thru carbs, or can't suck it out
of the gas tank.

Search Snipes corner on carb 787 r-b's.

ive got new plugs and fuel lines on it prob no more than 30 mins use on. them thanks for the reply by the way. Im tearing my hair out with it and cant get a tech to look at it for 3 weeks
