97 GTI no start no beep

Okay guys I have a 97 GTI with no start no beep no gauge light up tried 5 Start press nothing tested my beeper it's okay all fuses in the mpem good and show power fuse by solenoid good have power on both sides of fuse purchased used dess post steel nothing I am lost need help

Do your gauges come alive when you press the start button with key off post?

Sounds like you're getting power to the mpem at the fuses? Check the mpem ground. The mpem grounds through the MAG connection. Check that plug for corrosion if you have no ground

No my gauges don't light up . And ok i will check

Maybe trace all the wires and make sure nothing is broken. Might be a bad mpem

Dude that worked I had water in the connector so now I'm getting fire and everything seems to work thanks so much bro

Where is the MAG connection that you speak of that might have corrosion as I'm experiencing something similar?
