97 GTI magneto

I have a 97 GTI with 720 engine (maybe 717) which need replacement magneto/stator. I know that the 97 gti don't have too much electric parts interchangeables with other models, but which other magnetos will work with my sea doo? I search on eBay and there are a lot that says 4 wires, 5 wires, or are listed per model.

So experts I need your advice on which one will fit.

Also what other web site to buy parts for goodprices?

I also have a 97 GTI and it is a 4 wire, I also have a 95 XP and 95 GTX. They all share the same part number for this item. It is part number 290-886-726, perhaps that will help you in your search.

I have several in stock and can ship tomorrow. You need a 4 wire with the external connector. the older ones will work but have to be spliced.

Thanks. Will talk to my mechanic and let you know. Any advice on how to check if that is the problem?

The ski was running well. Then the exhaust manifold seal (between the manifold which is attach to the engine and the expansion) start leaking a lot of water, a lot of water. My mechanic rebuild the carburator (needed because it was stuck) and repair the leakage. Then the ski start failing, like misfiring and he say is the stator.

Any other advice?

Also to relace the stator is needed to remove the entire engine?
