So my 96 gti dumped the pto cylinder last Sunday. I leave on vacation in 2 weeks, so instead of trying to rush a repair I picked up a almost perfect 97 gti. I just gave it a quick shake down run and it has a slight bog off idle and again at wot. I can work through both by feathering the throttle for the low speed and by easing into wot. The ski still has the dreaded grey fuel lines and the guy I purchased it from said a ski shop removed the small filter in the carb and replaced with a inline filter. I’m thinking replace fuel lines, kit the carb replace the filter in front of ski and reinstall the small filter. Maybe replace the selector valve to be safe. Any other thoughts? Ski has good compression.
