97 GSX Fuel Gauge Not Working, shows nothing????

I just bought a 1997 seadoo and GSX with 37 original hours. When i took it out i noticed everything worked on the info gauges but the fuel level. It didnt show anything and didnt blink black like every else when you first plug in the teather. There is no activity at all in that area of the gauge. The guy i bought it from said it worked the last time he took it out last year and had no idea what could be wrong. What could my problem be? It almost seem like there is no power to that part of the guage. Where would i look to get it working again. When i first bought it it would flash 12v fault at me when the teather was plugged in and the machine was not running but i charged the battery up and that was apparently that problem.

Check the wiers... but most likely, the float sank, or the magnets fell off the float. (common issue) Either wat... buy an updated float, and replace it.

Very easy fix...just finished it about 20 min ago. I ordered the floats from my dealer and removed the f1 fuse and bingo I now have a working fuel gauge. One down one to go.
Thanks to all ones before me that did the great write ups on how to fix this problem!!
