ok... when i bought my gsx it was already converted over to premix...thats fine by me, i know there is oil lubricating everything...so, my queary...the guy i bought it off was running it at a 20:1 gas/oil, and that seem a lot of oil too me.. i mean thats 2.5 liters of oil for a full tank...
it runs fine and i dont wanna fukitup, but can i use a different ratio????
my mate runs 40:1 in his kawasaki, and that would save me $$$$$$$$$$$ bigtime....

One question...

The guy who converted it... did he leave the oil tank in the hull? The reason I ask is that the rotary valve gears of your engine still need an oil bath to live. If the tank is gone, find out if there is any oil getting to those gears.

thanks guys,
im sure my neighbour will be happy with a little less smoke when im flushing out my baby... and the oil tank is still there, he just deleted the oil injection cables... and now i will get twice as much oil for my money!!!!

and not sure if u guys in the states get penrite oils over there, but they have a 2stroke which is higher rated than seadoo oil and a fraction of the price... i pay $28 for 2.5 liters...and here seadoo oil is $30 for 1 liter...
it even quotes for "use with seadoo warrantys"... so im stickin with the penrite...
