97 GSX 787 question

Hey I just bought this ski and have tuned it up and its running excellent. I just need to replace those grey fuel lines now. Anyways, I notice when I'm pinned or WOT for quite some time I never ever hit redline, isn't it suppose to be 7200? I usually only get up to about 6600 is that normal or no? Only thing I can think is because the throttle isn't adjusted all the way out, or its normal....let me know!

Well I'm going to clean the raves and replace all the grey fuel lines tomorrow.....I'll post pics if I remember....I'm going to just give the raves a go, I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing lol.

Hi did you sought out your problem.
Mine just came back from a service new wear ring and impellor rebuild and still in the water i am only getting 6600rpm but out of the water 7200.

Is this normal.
