97 GS oil tank repair

hey all you people can you tell me how to fix a oil hold tank, leaks at seam
book says it neededs to hold 3 lbs of pressure for 10 min, guess what it does not

I guess you could do a heat weld, as I recall there was a thread about repairing the fuel baffel with a heat weld and using cable tie for extra plastic.

If it were me I would try to find a good used one or even buy a new one. This is something that you need, there could be big costs involved doing a half a**ed repair.
