Hi,have a 787 bad engine i believe, has cracked cylinders from freezing.Thinking of doing rebuilt shortblock.Dealer quoted $2000 installed.I know on site rebuilts are about $800.Is there any member in ct who can do this job for me as $2000 is bad on finances for sure.Does anyone recommend which shortblock to use? Look on your local CL and see if you can find a guy. You may be able to get away with buying a set of cyl and it would be MUCH less.
