97.5 gsx flywheel

I have a gray ghost model with the white engine that I had The engine completely rebuilt on. However, I'm now trying to put the flywheel back on and realized the one I have is broken. I've been told the flywheel on this despite having the same part number as other GSX models is slightly different. Does anyone have a 97.5 flywheel they could sell me? Or can someone clarify if it is truly the same part number?

Don’t know about the fly wheels. The mag cup should be the same as a 98… Single coil in 99 they changed the mag cup and the ignition system going to a dual coil.

I've ordered two flywheels from ebay both have the right magneto cup but wrong flywheel. Does anyone else have any suggestions on what I should do regarding the flywheel? The seadoo manuals show that it's the same part number as the 98, but it is not as I've ordered two of the 98 flywheels and the key is in a different place indicating the timing is slightly different. My question is should I simply put the 98 flywheel on the 97 and a half ski? Will that screw up the timing?

I have this one off of a 99 XPL I believe. There is a number stamped into the mag cup
