96XP and 96 GSX Fuel Baffle Question

So of course neither fuel sending unit is working. I pulled the baffles last night and the bottom screen was in the bottom of the tank and floats out just floating in the tank. Magnets were gone from floats and I can't find them. I ordered the newer updated plastic float for both of them although I am reading some complaints about those newer floats. I guess I will find out.

Question 1 - if they don't work my old floats still float just fine but I would need to install a new magnet. Who has a source of magnets?

Question 2 - what glue to use for the magnet

Question 3 - why was the bottom screen off the baffle and in the bottom of the tank. All three small clips seem to still be intact. Do I need to glue this screen back on? If so what glue?

3 low fuel and lots of banging around pushed the bottom out.
2 seal all ?
1 just standard neodymium magnets sized properly i would think.
