96 xp oil pump block off installation

trying to install my oil pump blockoff and the instructions arent very clear can someone explain how to install or show me a link that explains how to

very easy, were the oil pump is there are 2 allen screws that you need to unscrew as well as the throttle cable that is hooked to it. also the oil line that is going to it needs to be blocked off i used a screw and a clamp, then remove the little plastic gear that is hooked to the drivshaft. it just slides out (just used to turn the oil pump) then you can remove the 2 lines that go under the carbs and that is were your 2 caps are gunna go, and you can screw the plate in the plave of the oil pump, its alot easer than it sounds takes about 20 min tops

ok thanks the instructions say that there are lines that have to remain connected to lube the rotary valve gears but my oil tank and lines have been removed is this guna cause a problem

it will not cause a problem, but you do have to have those lines connected, but there is another way around it, the reason i just said to just plug that one line off and i did not say about the other 2 lines, what you can do is get you 2 lines and have one connected to the engine at the rotary valvle and then the other comes out the other side of the engine and just connect the 2 lines and make sure they are filled with oil, that away it will just circulate the oil.

ya i am sure you can find some pics somwere it is hard to explain but very easy. someone posted a video just the other day i think it was nemrods post you should look it up it kinda showed it
