Had trouble with this XP last season, fouled plugs, wouldn't accellerate, bogged down, etc. After reading this forum I tried cleaning the carbs, changing the gray fuel lines, cleaning the fuel valve, filter, etc. with no success. I winterized it and put it away disgusted, vowing I would solve the problem in the spring. Today I installed a freshly charged battery and tried to start it. Clunk, Clunk.
No cranking. I tested the battery, full. Pulled the plugs to see if it would crank with no compression. Youssers! It blue oil all over the engine compartment and me! Apparently oil is leaking into the combustion compartment while it is not running. What is wrong, and how do I fix it? Thanks.

All seadoo 2 strokes seals will leak some when sitting a long time with no pincher on the oil tank to cavity line. Put a rag over the plug holes and keep cranking engine in
15 sec, rest 30 sec, crank 15, rest. Stop if starter gets hot, After awhile most will be out and you can put pre-mix in holes, do a coupla times, then Start it & RIDE IT!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOJA RAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BR8ES gapped .021. Do the rest of your pre-ride maintenance.

Thanks for your reply. Would this have caused my problem last season, with bogging and no acceleration after riding for a while? I am certainly willing to try it, sure is a simple solution. If I need to replace the seals, how big of a job is it? I have mechanical skills and tools, and have had the engine out before.
