I have a 96 XP with a completely STOCK 787 engine... The problem is that throughout the day when the ski is started or during acceleration the ski will start firing on 1 cylinder sporadically and I will have to kill the engine and restart it and continue to do it until it runs fine. It occurs probably about 25% of the time and started at the end of last season. The battery is a newer sealed gel battery and is fully charged and the spark plugs are new and both look good, running a little rich, but neither look like they were wet or fouled out from running on one cylinder  I was thinking that it might be the coil or rectifier but not sure... anyone have similar situations or know what it could possibly be??? Thanks for any help or advice!!!

coil is good... So does anyone know if it would be an issue with the RECTIFIER and how can you test it? Thanks for any advice...
