96 xp blowing vts fuse

ok my 96 xp will blow the 7.5 amp fuse as soon as i put it in but if i put a 10 amp fuse in it will work for like a day then it is blown again next time i try to take it out any ideas

had the same problem with mine and replaced the starter relay. also check the ground from the electrical box to the battery. the ground wire may be frayed somewhere. mine was frayed and kept throwing the fuse. i trimed it back a little and replaced the connector.

If you use a larger fuse, chances are you will cause problems in the mpem and get real expensive.
