96 SPX will not turn over

trying to wake this ol' girl up after winterization. I have had a bit of moisture in the engine bay over the winter and I think that played havoc with my electrical. I've cleaned the wires and contacts from the battery to what I think is the relay and also the coil. I have experience with my 701 yamaha electrical system but the seadoo is new to me. I've tried bridging the relay and I got nothing which worries me. Fuses are ok as well. Is there a good electrical chart somewhere as well for how this system is set up?

If you become a premium member... you can down load the manual. BUT... if you give me your email... I can send you the schematic.

If you jumped the solenoid, and didn't get anything... then the starter is frozen. The moisture in the bilge is bad for everything. It can rust up all the bearings, and engine internals.

so to get to the starter do I need to remove the carbs first?

I'll just start chasing the signal around and see where it stops. Hopefully the starter is salvageable.

The stater is under your exhaust. And no... you don't need to remove it to get the starter out. (but it makes it easier)

When removing the starter I noticed when I was feeling around down there the ground might not have been making good contact. So cleaned, reassembled hooked up battery and viola. Purred like a kitten. Thanks again for the help
