Hello
I have a 96 Bombardier Seadoo SPX. It cranks up fine but the impeller is not turning. There are no signs of Rocks in it or thru it. I know nothing about these things, but I looked in the inside and did notice the Silver bracket and Ring were loose from the black hose on what I think is the impeller. Could that be the problem? I was told it may be the drive train may have possibly busted, how would I know?

Help!!!
Thanks

pull the pump, undo the steering cable and reverse cable, if there along with the VTS cable, then undo the 4-17mm nuts at back of pump, and pull. Inspect the splines inside the impellor along with the splines on driveshaft. Sounds like one end is stripped. Also, remove the grey shield, make sure the PTO flywheel isnt spun off the crank.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to have it checked out as you suggested. How hard is it to repair or replace the splines?
