P paul korp New Member Aug 6, 2010 #1 have a 96 spi that has no spark any ideas from anybody? i have had it out once this year. new battery and rectifier. run good for a little bit then wont start after motor is shut off. really could use some help thankl paul

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2010 #2 until you do some trouble shooting... it could be anything. CDI's will start to go intermittent. You could have a few corroded wires... or the ignition coil could be going bad. Get the manual, and do the static tests on all the parts.
