96 SPI maybe driveshaft????

So before I was having issues getting fuel to the carb, but I replaced my entire fuel system and rebuilt the carb, and now its running just fine. However, when I go to take off it seems to rev a lot higher than its moving. Even if I try to give it more throttle it will just rev higher and not move any faster than like 5-10 mph. If I hold the throttle about mid way for a min or 2, it will seem to grab, eventually, then take off like it should and ride fine as long as I keep the throttle above 25%. But if I let it go back down to like idle, then try to go again it will do the same thing again. I noticed that if I kill the motor and count to 10 then start up and just try to go, most of the times it will take of as it should, but not everytime. So, if anyone has experienced this or knows what this problem is, I would really appreciate the help.

sorry cant help but my 2003 gtx does the same thing going to th eshop tommorrow will let u know when i find out what is wrong with mine
