96 Speedster--too much cavitation

I just installed new wear rings and a new impeller, and still get cavitation outa the hole. I'm thinking of 'stuffer' intake grates. Anyone know who'd supply them if I sent measurements? Even if they're intended for a different application?

Carbon seals?

Have You checked out Your Carbon seals on the drive shafts?
Are they tight? Have You ever replaced the accordion looking boots?
