96 Seadoo xp wont start after replacing starter HELP

Hey guys, just completely rebuilt my 96 xp800. 4th of july wouldnt start after getting it back from the shop jumped it started rode for 30 minutes turned it off never started back up again. Figured it was the started so ordered and installed the started still nothing. Its allowing me to jump it using a screw driver and the solenoid but wont crank over. Prior to replacing the start it beeped and woulnd turn over now no beeps any ideas?

bought this starter/ it is painted black so maybe the ground isnt touching metal?

brand new battery and above is the starter ^

Junk aftermarket starter 60% of the time they work every time, LOL.

Had the exact same problem except mine wouldn't start before and after I replaced the starter with a third party. Was getting two beeps and a clunk... Sanded down my GROUND lugs on both ends per this site
and like magic it fired right up.
