Seadoo was randomly die'n not sure if fuel related or something related to this. I put it back on trailer and went to fire it up to get the water out of it. It turned over and started but the starter kept running. I shut it off by pulling lanyard. Still the starter kept running. What i did figure out so far is that if i unplug the starter solenoid it will stop turning over. Constant 12v to the yellow/red wire. That's all i can figure out.

I havent had a chance to get back out and work on the ski, but tomorrow i will be testing the start/stop switch, maybe trying to test the solenoid too. Also the "relay" you are talking about thats also the starter solenoid? Or is there another relay in the grey box up front. Thanks for the reply's Will post what i find tomorrow

I tested today and the start/stop button checks out good. I looked inside the grey box upfront and check some of the wires in there. I noticed that the yellow wire with red stripe has 12v all the time. At the solenoid and inside the box, even when the start button is pressed. Im gonna check all the leads on the Mpem tomorrow. following these test procedures. . http://www.angelfire.com/oh/theboatguy/mpemtest.html let me know if anyone has a spare mpem for a 1996 seadoo xp. i may need it .
